HKU to hold the Honorary University Fellowships Presentation Ceremony 2025

Honorary University Fellowships 2025

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will confer Honorary University Fellowships on six distinguished individuals at the presentation ceremony to be held on June 17, 2026 (Wednesday) at Loke Yew Hall, Main Building, HKU.

Dr the Honourable Sir David Li, Pro-Chancellor of HKU, will officiate at the ceremony to confer the honour on them in recognition of their contributions to the University and society.

The six honorees are:

Dr Raymond CHAN Wai Man *
Professor LEE Sum Ping
Mr Charles LI Xiaojia
Professor Evelyn MAN Yee Fun
Ir Professor Paul POON Wai Yin
Mrs Mayce YU LAI Mei Sim

Established in 1995, the Honorary University Fellowships are one of the University's valued traditions, awarded to individuals in recognition of their contributions to the University and the community. To date, the University has honoured 179 Fellows.

Dr Raymond Chan Wai Man was unable to attend the Ceremony in person in 2023 and will present with the Fellowship this year.
