Honorary University Fellows

An excerpt from the Vice-Chancellor's Address delivered at the Honorary University Fellowships Presentation Ceremony on December 10, 1996:

Mr Simon Lee Kwok Yin, Chairman of the Sun Hing Group of Companies, a Founding Honorary President of the University of Hong Kong Foundation for Educational Development and Research. He has long been a magnanimous benefactor of the University, that in 1985 we named one of our student halls of residence after him. 

Recently, he has also generously supported our Department of Medicine in the establishment of the Simon Lee Digestive Disease Centre in Queen Mary Hospital.
