Our Philosophy

About Our Lab Culture

At BISP lab, we are not typical researchers. We are here to learn, to design, to code, to invent, to innovate novel MRI technologies for medicine. We also conduct pre-clinical MRI experiments to investigate and to map brain neural circuits and their functions.

Opportunities

PhD Students

Prospective PhD students with enthusiasm for conducting research in MR engineering and/or neuroimaging, as well as having strong academic performance are strongly encouraged to apply for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS). There are also other competitive studentships or scholarships offered by HKU or other organisations you may consider.

Postdoctoral Fellows

We are looking for highly motivated postdoctoral fellows with strong backgrounds in MRI physics, signal processing, machine learning, or neuroscience. Candidates with experience in MRI hardware, pulse sequence design, or image reconstruction are particularly welcome.

Research Assistants

Research assistant positions are available for candidates with relevant technical skills in MRI, signal processing, programming, or biomedical engineering. These positions provide excellent preparation for graduate study.

Visiting Scholars

We welcome visiting scholars and researchers who wish to collaborate with BISP Lab. Short-term and long-term visits are both possible. Please contact Prof. Wu directly to discuss potential research collaborations.
