Visit by Chairman of District Council
On August 6, Mr Chan Tak-chor, Chairman of the Central and Western District Council paid a visit to the construction site of the Centennial Campus. He was accompanied by Mr Stephen Chan, Vice-Chairman of the Council, Mrs Winnie Ho, District Officer, and Miss Cheung Hoi Shan, Assistant District Officer of the Central and Western District.
The guests noted that the excavation works would be completed in a few months’ time and the superstructure construction would commence subsequently. They were pleased to note that the heritage buildings on site were well protected and in future, the 4000m2 landscaped garden on top of the service reservoirs would be open to the public.
