Support from the Legislative Council A 2.03 billion funding was approved by the Finance Committee of the Legislative Council for the Centennial Campus on 24 April. Earlier on, the project was supported by the Education Panel and the Public Works Subcommittee of the Finance Committee of the Legislative Council in January and February this year respectively. Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor John Malpas introduced the design of the project to the legislators. He reiterated that HKU attached great importance to greening and sustainability in the design of the campus and would continue the engagement work with the stakeholders.
