Vote for hku.hk

Dear colleagues, students and alumni,

I am pleased and proud to inform you that hku.hk has been shortlisted as one of the top-ranking websites (Non-commercial Category) again this year in the "Best .hk Website Awards" competition.

This competition aims to encourage the use of best practices and design in website development to increase competitiveness and maximise the benefits of the internet to society. Participants are assessed in terms of design and functionality, engagement, use of social media and accessibility. Thanks to your support for hku.hk in the competition last year, HKU won the "Most Liked .hk Website" Award.

But we haven't rested on our laurels, and this academic year, we've continued to make hku.hk even better. The website is now enhanced to be responsive to the portrait or landscape modes of the mobile devices, so users can navigate without having to resize texts or images. Mobile users can also now easily switch between the "normal contrast" and the "high contrast" versions for better legibility. The display of the main photo area, font sizes, captions and the flip board format have all been improved as well. All to make the hku.hk website easier to use, more engaging and more accessible than ever.

This year, we need your support again. Vote today!

Participants who vote online will have a chance to win these prizes:

  • Grand Prize (1 winner): Lenovo IdeaPad 100S 14" Laptop
