The Hong Kong Jockey Club Building for Interdisciplinary Research

Located at Sassoon Road near the Patrick Mansion Building, the construction of the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) Building for Interdisciplinary Research will be completed in June 2011. The building, originally named the Human Research Institute, has been named after the HKJC in recognition of its generous donation of HK$133 million.

The Building will provide the space, the technologies and the facilities to cultivate a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary environment that will enhance collaboration amongst researchers within HKU. It will house the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Engineering Centre, the Behavioral Sciences and Holistic Health Centre, the Institute of Human Performance Research Centre, the Clinical Trials Centre, the Genome Research Centre, the Medical Physics Research Centre, and the Chemical Biology Centre.
