Zoroastrian community commemorates Sir H N Mody's generosity to the University on his birthday (8)

Sir Hormusjee N Mody, a distinguished Parsi businessman and a renowned philanthropist and benefactor, made a major donation towards the founding of HKU. Without his generosity, the University's existence may not have been realised. The Zoroastrian Community of Hong Kong presented a bust of Sir Hormusjee N Mody to the University of Hong Kong on June 17, 2002. On October 12th each year, Sir H N Mody's birthday, his contributions to the establishment of the University are commemorated.
