Important notice for students of the Class of 2022
about the upcoming graduation ceremonies

Dear graduands,

The University's Congregation is the annual grand ceremony held by the University to officially confer degrees on our students who are eligible for graduation.

Please note the following IMPORTANT items:

1)  OFFICIAL DATES
The 208th Congregation for the conferment of degrees on the Class of 2022 will be held from November 15 to December 7 this year.

2)  Schedules of the 208th Congregation
The Congregation sessions will be organised by the ten Faculties and most will take place in the Grand Hall of the University. Graduands will receive notification from their respective Faculties confirming their graduation and details for registration for admission tickets.

3)  General Congregation Information
Please bookmark the Congregation website (http://www4.hku.hk/congreg/) and visit it regularly for essential information on the arrangements of the 208th Congregation, including links to the Faculty Congregation websites, respective online systems for registration for admission tickets, loan of academic dresses, collection of certificates etc., as well as other latest updates.

4)  Graduand’s Email Account
Please note that all graduands can continue to access their @connect.hku.hk emails via a web browser at http://webmail.hku.hk/. Respective logins and passwords remain unchanged. Graduands are reminded to check this email account regularly for announcements and latest updates on the Congregation arrangements.

5)  Exclusive Alumni Privileges

6)  Graduate Employment Survey and Career Support
All graduands are invited to take part in the Graduate Employment Survey 2022 which will be launched in late October this year by CEDARS – Careers and Placement to collect employment related information of graduates. Those who have completed the survey before November 30, 2022 will get a free HKU Tote Bag. Please visit http://www.cedars.hku.hk/ges/newgrad for details. Graduands are also encouraged to make use of the “GraduAction” one-stop hub for free career support services and resources.
